I recently transferred my Access 2000 from an old computer (Windows
98SE) to a new one, running XP Media Edition. In the process, I seem
to have lost the Search function. Everything else seems to work & I
have no problems sorting the tables. Any thoughts?

    Hi Ed,

Are you talking about the Find and Replace dialog that one can normally see
by clicking on a toolbar icon with the binoculars (or clicking on Edit >
Find, or Ctrl + F)? If so, did you do a full install of Access on your new PC?

    Hello Tom,

    Thanks for your reply.
I *think* I did a full install. Is there a way for me to check that,
or should I try a new install?

    Ed
