I have been charged by my boss to research the Access Edit locks (no lock,
Edited Lock, All Records) and to discover which the best to use in our
environment is. So far I have found them to do nothing, generating the same
messages and error under the same Circumstances.

Admittedly I haven't tried everything yet, and I plan to do more testing,
but I have discovered that this property stays relative no to the database
but to the computer/access that it is running on. I was thinking to myself
that there might be a piece of code that could be used to adjust this, or
else it would be quite the task to set every computer to have the same access

It would help if we had a better idea of what you were trying to do,
meaning why are you trying this? to what purpose?

You may be looking down the wrong path.

Since you're here... we have a small favor to ask...

More people are visiting & reading SPN than ever but far fewer are paying to sustain it. Advertising revenues across the online media have fallen fast. So you can see why we need to ask for your help. Donating to SPN's is vote for free speech, for diversity of opinions, for the right of the people to stand up to religious bigotry. Without any affiliation to any organization, this constant struggle takes a lot of hard work to sustain as we entirely depend on the contributions of our esteemed writers/readers. We do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too... Fund our efforts and together we can keep the world informed about the real Sikh Sikhi Sikhism. If everyone who writes or reads our content, who likes it, helps us to pay for it, our future would be much more secure. Every Contribution Matters, Contribute Generously!
