    Hi all,

Is it possible to take data from an Access 2003 Table and place it into a
Word / PowerPoint document as a 'Paste Link", so it updates automatically? I
know this can be done with Excel, but I can't find a way with other apps.

    I apprecioate everyone help!
    Joe

In Excel there is a way that you get an Excel spreadsheet to get the
latest information from an Access table or query.

I dont see why you then couldnt use the copy/paste link option from
    excel to another program.

To do this, if you are unaware of it, is in Excel:
Data menu>Import External Data (or Get External Data depending on your
    version)>New Database query.
Choose Access from the list of databases, browse to where the database
is found, choose the table or query, follow the other couple of
screens that are not that important, then decide where in the Excel
    spreadsheet you want the data.

The External Data toolbar should then come up, and you need to use the
middle red exclamation mark to refresh the data, unless you want to
refresh on open or refresh every x minutes from the properties.
