Is there a code or setting that will allow me to display linked images as
icons in forms, but when I go to print out a report it would print the image
that the link is attached to? I have been trying to find a way around this
and haven't been able to come up with anything. I am very new to this
program. Thanks for any available help

    Hi Mike,

Can't really see why you would want to have an icon on a form and then have
a picture on a report. Is there a reason for this ? Why not just have the
picture on the form as well.

The link to an icon is no larger than the link to a picture so you will not
increase the size of you DB - maybe you just like icons?

There is a code you can use (shown on the main MS website) but if your are
"new to this" why not simply insert an extra field into query (
NewField:=[LinkToPicture] ) and use this in your form (formated as an icon)
and use the [LinkToPicture] in your report. Although as I said can't really
    the point of this.

Thanks for taking the time to respond.

I went through and converted 7 or so of the linked icons, I had in the
forms, into linked images and the database size jumped from 14.7MB to 54.3MB.
    What could be causing this?
Is there something I have possibly set up wrong?
The images are taken from a Word file so they are saved as a .doc file.
    Could this be the problem?

I would like to have the pictures there instead of icons but the size is
    definately an issue.
