    Good Morning all,

I have a table that maintains Date, Route, Customer Number and Stop. I have
these as key fields so as to not duplicate from a Append Query that I use to
    update the table.

For the past couple of days/Weeks I have noticed that he table Drops it keys
    and allows duplicates.

How can I prevent this or is this a bug with Access?

On rare occassions, Access can drop the index when you perform a repair. If
the index is corrupt, it drops the index in preference to dropping records.

This should not be happening on a regular basis, so something else is wrong
here. Firstly, make sure you have the latest service pack for your version
of Office, and also (assuming Access 2000 or later) the latest service pack
    for JET 4. Available from:
    http://support.microsoft.com/gp/sp
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/239114

If that does not solve the problem, tell us more about this database:
    - Access version?
    - Split (FE/BE)?
    - Multiple users over a network?
    - Post the SQL for the query.

Since you're here... we have a small favor to ask...

More people are visiting & reading SPN than ever but far fewer are paying to sustain it. Advertising revenues across the online media have fallen fast. So you can see why we need to ask for your help. Donating to SPN's is vote for free speech, for diversity of opinions, for the right of the people to stand up to religious bigotry. Without any affiliation to any organization, this constant struggle takes a lot of hard work to sustain as we entirely depend on the contributions of our esteemed writers/readers. We do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too... Fund our efforts and together we can keep the world informed about the real Sikh Sikhi Sikhism. If everyone who writes or reads our content, who likes it, helps us to pay for it, our future would be much more secure. Every Contribution Matters, Contribute Generously!
