    Hi,

I was wondering if someone could lend a helping hand. I have created a
database for the collections department and when they pull up a client with
the search options the clients account will pull up, with each account a note
has to be put into the database for verfication. The problem is when someone
selects the note button the next page will pull up with the clients
information, but lately when the note button is selected a different clients
account is on the note screen and it has been causing a lot of confusion for
    the collections team.

If someone could lead me in the right direction it would be greatly
    appreciate.

    Thank you
    Sheria

Is it always the note for the same customer?
Is it perhaps the note for the first customer in whatever sequence the
    query is sorted in?

Is it the note of the last customer that user put a note on?

    We need some more information.

Ok when the user puts in verification information is this information used to
pull the appropriate record? Do they happen to be pulling up multipule
records? IF you have some code or a query that is ran when the user 'selects
the note button' please post that also.

When the client ID# is entered in, the database it always brings up the
correct account. The error occurs when the wrong account pulls up on the note
screen when a note is being entered, it does seem to be the last account that
the collections rep. was looking at. When the ID number is entered, the rep.
click and drag over the last account number, and then type the number of the
account that they want. If the previous account number is deleted instead of
typing over it, would that make a difference.

Yes the account number is used to pull of the correct account. After the
account has been pulled up and when they go to the notes screen, the acount
information still will pull up at the top of the screen, letting the rep.
know that they have the correct account number. Just one record at a time.

Check the query that the note form is using, and see where / what field
    it is using as criteria.

Now you have to go back to whereever that note form is being called
from and make sure that THAT FIELD that the form is using is loaded
    with the necessary information.

I sounds as if sometimes it is loaded and some times it is NOT
consequently pulling up the note of whatever account was last loaded
    into that criteria field.

Or if the noteform is being called with a "strcriteria" one time but
    not the other time.

The implecation is that it is NOT being called consistently - the same
    way all the time.
