Open your report in design view.
    Open the Toolbox (View menu.)
Open the Properties box (View menu.)
Click the text box icon in the toolbox.
The title of the Properties box should read "Default Text Box".
On the Format tab of the Properties box, set:
    Auto Label No

Do the same for the combo, list box, or other controls you want to default
    to having no label.
