I thought this would be an interesting topic of discussion... [IMG]

How fast have you gone? What were you driving? Where were you? Why?

For me, I was in my Santro :p at Ludhiana-Chandigarh highway, the only place I passed the 120 kmph mark ::cool:2: . My top finishing speed has been 122 kmph and as far as I can remember that is the fastest I have driven...[IMG]

    Lol... an interesting question.

Distance from Sandton to Sun city (in South Africa) is 200 kms. We used to make it a point to reach there within one hour (point to point). Barra naam japaya lokaa'n nu... mere naal baithe saara time waheguru, waheguru karde rehnde see :) That was in Toyota Corrola, I think. Why we used to do, I guess - just for fun.

Now with family, I rarely go above prescribed speed limits. And now, I have to tell my wife every ten seconds to bring speed under control and within limits!

Yes its true about this wife thing.... I have driven at 180 - 190 KMH..but the wife keeps telling every ten seconds''slow down ji....skow down..meree jaan kaddhh tee... and i keep saying.. one has to keep at a cetain speed to avoid bugging others...and keep my foot frimly on the accelerator..but eventually the wife wins...and we slow down to 120 ( legal speed limit on Malaysian highways)..The longest I have kept at 185 ++ is about 20 minutes..before the unstoppable nagging gets me.

The cars used driven... Toyota Corolla KE 30/Nissan 130Y/Honda Prelude/Ford Escort/Toyota Camry/Ford Ghia...and locally produced Proton.

Since you're here... we have a small favor to ask...

More people are visiting & reading SPN than ever but far fewer are paying to sustain it. Advertising revenues across the online media have fallen fast. So you can see why we need to ask for your help. Donating to SPN's is vote for free speech, for diversity of opinions, for the right of the people to stand up to religious bigotry. Without any affiliation to any organization, this constant struggle takes a lot of hard work to sustain as we entirely depend on the contributions of our esteemed writers/readers. We do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too... Fund our efforts and together we can keep the world informed about the real Sikh Sikhi Sikhism. If everyone who writes or reads our content, who likes it, helps us to pay for it, our future would be much more secure. Every Contribution Matters, Contribute Generously!
