Do You Support Criminal Intimidation/Violence as used by so called pro-Dasam Granth followers to Resolve Panthic Matters? Don't you think this shocking incidence has brought Sikhi into disrepute and spoiled all international efforts to put Sikhs into the good light...

Have your say in these crucial Panthic Matters...

VIOLENCE..was NEVER used in SIKH AFFAIRS..ever. Not by the Sikh Gurus..not by Sikhs and certainly not by the SIKH Jathas during the Singh Sabha Lehr as well even though very provocative environment was created most of the time.
SGGS declares..Gurmukh betheh saffan vichaayee..Gurmukhs sit together and...discuss..debate..and reach a concensus...always the Sikh Panth has consulted..debated..discussed...even when the Gatherings were as Big as Sarbatt KHALSA..with HUNDREDS of THOUSANDS attending..not a Single act of violence was ever reported.
This "culture" of violence..beat up your opponent...intimade a fellow SIKH..use of huge steel karras, as a weapon is also becoming common (more and more ghonas also use this strategy)...every other day we see Media Pics of "SIKHS" brandishing Naked SWORDS in demonstrations...latest the Ravidassiah community also resorted to this Naked sword displays after the Vienna incident and Hindu Parades show Naked Trishuls....is ALIEN to a GENUINE SIKH who follows the SANT-SIPAHI principle of MIRI-PIRI. A True Sant Sipahi mIri Piri keeps his ANGER in check..his MIND in CONTROL..his FACULTIES SANE !! One who LOSES CONTROL..is NOT a SIKH..he is a common man..on same plane as anyoen else..

It is very significant issue and deserves attention of all sikhs.
Use of violence in religious affairs of Gurdwaras amounts to showing
disrespect to our Gurus. Those who do not understand the meaning of religion and want leaderships can resort to such anti-religious activity.
such persons should not be given any importance whatsoever.

:khanda3:It is the arrogant and ignorant people, who know that their case is weak in logic and reasoning, who resort to such acts of criminal intimidation and violence. They have absolutely no idea of what Miri Piri stands for.:disgustedmunda:

I am not a Sikh but violence and religion are polar opposites to me. When one resorts to violence they repudiate their religious or spiritual beliefs.

    Peace
