I need to place page numbers in a long document with a blank page in every
chapter that shouldnot be numbered. How do Ido that?

Instead of numbering sequentially, I find it easier to
    number chapters like this: 1-1, 1-2, 1-3,...2-1, 2-2, 2-3,
etc where the number is CH#-page#_in_chapter

I am assuming the blank page is at the end of the chapter?
Numbering this way makes it alot easier to chenge individual
chapters without affecting the whole document as much.

.... isn't this a Word question? You asked it in a forum for
    Access.

In Word, you can re-start page numbering at any number
    anytime...

from the menu --> Insert, Page Number --> click FORMAT,
start at --> type new page number
(you don't have to really insert a page number to do this)
