how do I change the default state of a check box in Access 2000?

    The check boxes are empty by default. I would like to change the default to
    have check marks in all the boxes. I cannot find how to do that within help.
    How do I do this?

    Open your form in design view.
    Select the check box.
    Open the Properties box (View menu.)
    On the Data tab of the Properties box, set Default Value to Yes.
    Repeat for other check boxes.
