    -Herb Doman, a son of Sikh immigrants who became one of the last of the big-time British Columbia lumber barons, in July at age 75. -Cheung Shu-hung, co-owner of a Chinese maker of lead-tainted Sesame Street toys exported to America, of suicide in August.
