    Hi,

I have a data access page and want the page to autmatically go to a new
record when the user opens the page. Basically, I don't want the user to be
able to page back through the records and update or change past data. The
DAP is meant to capture new data.

Is it possible to have the DAP open to a new record? If yes, please let me
know how this can be accomplished.

    Thanks,
    Manuel

Set the DataEntry property of the page to True.
