I'm looking for a way to filter records in a query (or report) based on
a value in a field of an adjacent record. Can this be done easily? I
cannot find any info in the help files.

    Thanks

    See:
Referring to a Field in the Previous Record or Next Record
    at:
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/210504/en-us
    for 2 approaches.

A third approach would be a subquery. If subqueries are new, see:

    Thanks Allen,

You pointed me in the right direction. I was able to get my report to
do exactly what I wanted it to do.
