    My users use Access 97.

I have a table and a query based on it. I am trying to export the query into
a tab delimited text file without quotes. However, after exporting, I find
that after a few records there is a set of data which come from some other
table which was not even mentioned in the query. After thorughly checking, I
have compacted the database. No errors, but the format in the text file
    continues to be the same.

I have exported only the table and the query into a new database and tested
the result. It is the same even then. I found the data in the query and
found in a particular row which contained the columns of a table and some
data. It appeared someone might have copied a set of data from another table
and pasted it in a row in the query.

I removed the row and everything looked good.

Any idea as to what could be the reason will be highly appreciated.
