    Hi all.

First of all, I want to apologize for my poor english.

I have an Access database with a memo field that contains rtf text. I
export data by using VBA to an Excel Sheet that generate a graphic, and other
    text to different cells.

The problem is when I send the rtf to only one cell, I can send the text,
but appear the Carriage Returns or Line Feeds as a square, and the rich
    format dissapear.

How can I send the rich format (colors, fonts, etc) and delete those
    square characters?

    Thanks to everybody.

P.D. I'm using Access and Excel XP (2002), but code must run on 2000 or 2003
versions, due at my office there are the 3 versions. The Access database has
been generated in Access 2000 format.

I could be wrong, but I don't believe that Excel can handle the rtf in
a single cell. I don't believe I have ever seen different bolding or
fonts within a single cell in excel.

In this case I believe the problem is having excel do what you want,
    not Access.

In Excel, you can write Bold, Italic, mixing colors, fonts... in a cell, so
I need to send the rtf to Excel.

I take back my statement. I guess you can bold part of the contents
within a excel cell. I had just never seen it done before. I just tried
it and indeed I was able to do it.

My impression is, from the access point of view, that anything that is
being exported is considered to be TEXT once it leaves access. I think
at this point a posting in the excel groups might furnish more
information of how to receive rtf data into excel.

Wish you luck, AND if you do find out how to do it please post back
here. I would like to know how to do it also.
