Since installing Adobe Acrobat 7 (Acrobat 6 was previously installed with no problems) the warning message "You do not have exclusive use of the database at this time..." comes up when the database is opened while anyone else is also in it. Not making changes to the database. The database is only opening up at this stage. This message appears 30 odd times in a row. Clicking Ok eventually lets you into the database, which then functions normally. Adobe were contacted and have now effectively washed their hands of the matter. Their best suggestion was to load the database to a local drive and try and replicate the problem. Of course this didn't prove anything, because no one else can have the database open without a network connection. As the problem only appears with the network involved Adobe blame Microsoft. Has anyone else seen a similar problem and/or have a suggestion how to get Access 2003 and Acrobat 7 to coexist?
