    I have a form which has 4 dropdown boxes:
    Cov1A
    Cov1B
    Cov1C
    Cov1D
    Each box has four selections each with a numeric value
    Good = 3
    Moderate = 2
    Bad = 1
    N/A = 0
    I have an unbound text box in which I would like to calulate the average for
    the 4 dropdown boxes, but excluding the N/A from the formula in any of the
    dropdown boxes if it is selected. So assuming the entries above the formula
    would caluculate 3+2+1=6.... 6/3=2 rather than 3+2+1+0=6.... 6/4=1.5

    BoxTotal = Cov1a + Cov1b + Cov1c + Cov1d
    BoxCount = iif(Cov1a >0,1,0) + iif(cov1b > 0, 1,0) + iif(cov1c>0,1,0) +
    iif(Cov1d > 0, 1,0)
    BoxAverage = BoxTotal / BoxCount
