    Hi all,

I have a simple send email button which opens an email to the specified
person. This works great except for some of my users. They get this message
and cannot send emails directly from the database.

Is there some setting I have to change ? where ? in outlook or in access.

    Using Access2003 and Outlook 2003

    Thanks

Most likely in Outlook, as a result of the security update. This link should
show you how to allow Access to send email via Outlook:

Thanks for this. I asked the server administrator to look into this.
    Hope it works...

Changes may need to be done on the workstations, as well as in Exchange.

    Best of luck!

Since you're here... we have a small favor to ask...

More people are visiting & reading SPN than ever but far fewer are paying to sustain it. Advertising revenues across the online media have fallen fast. Without any affiliation to any organization, this constant struggle takes a lot of hard work to sustain as we entirely depend on the contributions of our esteemed writers/readers. We do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too... Fund our efforts and together we can keep the world informed about the real Sikh Sikhi Sikhism.
