Another question that is confusing me but should be simple for someome
    to expain to me.

I am trying to provide a drop down box for one field with the options
    of

    Yes
    No
    Pending.

On the tbl_business screen I have a field called Status and I set it to
    Lookup Wizard.

I then get the Wizard offering to create a lookup column and choose the
option to type in. I type the values I want to choose from but when I
go to the form that puts my data into the table there no drop down
button to choose any options for this entry

I recommend not using lookup at the table level but use a listbox in the form.

Make certain that you create lookup column before you create the form.
If you have the form already created, delete the text boxes and drag
    and drop the fields again.

    I made the forms first.

I don't understand that you mean by delete the text boxes and drag and
    drop the fields again.

Do you mean drag from the design view tool bar the list box item to
where I want it to be located?

Kuben mean to open the form in design view. Click on the textbox and delete.

On the menu click on VIEW - Field List. Then drag the filed of the textbox
you just deleted from the list to the position on the from.
