    Hello

Straight forward question but I can't find it when searching.
I have Currency £ and want to change to $. I can do this in reports but
wondered if there was a way to change it in the table. I don't need to
convert just show the $ sign.

    Thanks in advance

If the fields are currency, they should be picking up their format from
the Window's Regional Settings in the Control Panel. It is also possible
that some sort of format has been set up that is setting the Pound sign, or
it is possible that it may be a text field and you can do a search and
replace. Fin ally it may be in code and that might be fun to find.

Do you do any calculations with those values? Are they the result of a
calculation? If you don't need "numbers" you can change the field to text
and manually enter the $ or £ or even ?.

Another alternative is to use a second field to identify the currency
type. If it is just the two, you could use a check box and then using the
number field and type field to provide the desired display in forms and
    reports.
