Very weird....this code has worked for years...recently it has gotten
strange.... one of the problems it has is: the linked data comes up on form.
You can even see it in it's table. When reports (and they have worked
before) come up and are trying to take the data from an open form) the data
won't show up. (the code is: forms![openform]![field]). Here's the odd part:
it works fine on other machines. The only thing i think could be different
that the guy updated access2003 to sp2 and the data and program mdb files
were created and compacted under different versions. I cannot duplicate the
problem on any machine. I am reinstalling windows pro and access 2003.
Anyone see anything like this or hear of anything? Thanks in advance.

you were right (it took me and ms support 7 hrs to figure out)....it was a
misreigistry of dao360.dll. but here's the weirdness.....it appeared
registered...it had to be unclicked in the code references....the system had
to be shut down and booted up in standalone mode...registered in the run
commmand...started up in normal mode..reference had to be clicked in access
and it worked...whew...i think a corrupted profile from a windows 2003 server
was messing up the normal operation..........

    Hi Bill,

So, you gave MS Support a good workout ;-)

I'm glad to read that you got it fixed.
