i've read somewhere data access pages are being deleted from the next version
of access. does anyone know what will, if anything, replace the data access
    pages.

i have a database and im thinking of putting it on the internet for people
to use but i dont want to waste time learning about data access pages.

Can someone please give me some advice

DAPs are being deprecated in ACCESS 2007, but you can still run DAPs if you
keep the database file in an earlier (pre-2007) format even though you run
    it from ACCESS 2007.

ACCESS 2007 is greatly increasing the ability to link to SharePoint tables
and data -- this appears to be the "replacement" for DAPs.
