Is it possible to change the default colour for a Text Box on a Form when its
Enable property is set to No. ? Need to make it easier to read the contents
of the Text Box when it is not enabled.

No, but if you set the Locked property to yes, you will find it is readable.

Can you make the textbox locked instead of disabled ? You can then have the
text, background etc. any colour you want programatically based on its locked
    property.

If Enabled is No and Locked is No, then all you can get is the default grey.

However, if you set Locked to Yes for a disabled control, you get all the
normal colour properties showing again, so you can set it to look how you
    like.
