Conditional formatting on dates

    I am trying to generate report between two dates entered by the user,
    I tried with conditional formatting but it is not working at all.Can
    anyone help me out with this...

    Conditional Formatting controls formatting (i.e. background color, text
    color, etc). It does not filter which dates are shown. To do this you need a
    filter, either in the report or in the WHERE clause of the query used to
    feed the report.

    Where is the user entering these dates, do you have a form for the dates or
    are you relying on pop-up prompts? Are you running the report from a query
    or directly from a table? Are the fields with the dates in them defined as
    Date/Time data type?
