    I have created a chart to show the number of records per month but would like
    to see only the last 12 months records.
    Is it also possible to show two lines on a chart. One show last yrs
    performance per month and then the current year to date?

    If you output 2 separate queries to 2 separate Excel ranges, you can
    certainly base a chart on that. Here's an example of Excel automation:

    You may also want to lookup "OutputTo" and "TransferSpreadsheet" in the
    Access help files.
