Auto Emailing in Access 2002

    I have a database set up to track scrapped parts. I want it to automatically
    send an email to the appropriate person when the operator clicks a command
    button on the form. Something to the effect of "Please order [Num]
    replacement parts for shop order [ShopOrderNum]." Can I do this and have it
    be completely invisible to the operator? Thanks.

    You can do it using cdo, or by using Outlook with a dll called Redemption:

    To do the mailing just use code to send the mail:
