-What is the definition of a database object?
-There are multiple forms that I need my students to sign, can I have access
fill in their names, and make it where they can print it out and give me a
    hard copy?

A database objects includde tables, queries, forms, reports, macros, and
    modules.
As defined by in the book MS Access 2000 Bible

For the second question, I intially would say yes but further information
would be needed regarding how you database is created to determine how you
would have the names inputted into the forms.

    Hopes this helps

Could be either of two things, depending on context: Thing 1: an instance
of a database, such as an employee database, an inventory database, etc,
referring to the entire database as a database object. Thing 2: Within
Access, for example, forms are type of object in an Access database, and
therefore one type of database object. Other database objects in Access
include, queries, forms, reports, modules and data access pages.

Yes. You can prepare standard things for them to print, use one of several
mechanisms for getting a user name, and print the standard things with those
names on them. You should always still provide an area for a manual
signature and date if the student is committing to anything. A printed form
with a name printed on it has absolutely no standing other than as
    information.
