I have a personal love for these shorts about the 18 Sikh. Always I follow them, and today let me post one brief one. This is one up for the bhujangis.

Imphal, September 28 2011: 18 SIKH of 9 Sector under HQ IGAR(S) provided assistance in conducting the Irabot Memorial open chess tournament at Salam on 28 September 2011 .

Cash incentives were given to the winners and to the club secretary.

Around 60 men from all age groups participated in the tournament.

The organizers of the event thanked 18 SIKH for participating in the event and providing necessary assistance for the conduct of the entire event

Taking the opportunity of availability of such huge numbers of young talent at one place, a small talk on youth awareness and career counselling was also organised by 18 SIKH.

The interaction lasted for half an hour where young boys asked various questions on the profession of their choice and many showed a keen interest to join the armed forces too.

There is also a video at this link. :)
