The name was, in fact, inspired by the inseparable friendship Alleyne struck up with the burly fast bowler "Syd" Lawrence in his early days at Gloucestershire. Lawrence (big and loud) was soon nicknamed Yogi Bear and Alleyne (quiet and reserved) Boo-boo *
