Three-fold Service
  1. Tan - (Physical) Sikhs should engage in useful work like the food preparation in the langar.
  2. Man - (Mental) Sikhs are required to study the holy book or Granth and share their knowledge with others.
  3. Dhan - (Material) Sikhs should give at least ten percent of their earnings to charity.

Very nice diagram, I agree. Physically much can be done including aide to environment, animals, structures and centers, food and farming. Mentally, knowledge can be shared, stories, wisdom and intuitive understanding, as well as observations, research and specialized education. Materially whatever is best for individuals needs can be shared, from food, to objects for children, to homes etc.
