Waho Waho Guru Gobind Singh, Appey Guru Chela.

Guru Gobind Singh ji
1. at the age of 9 years, told his father Guru Tegh Bahadur ji - Who else is the greatest soul here. other than you? And directed his father to give sacrifice for Hindus against Moghuls.
2. sent his two elder sons (teenagers) - sahibzadeys to the fight against moghuls. And witnessed their martyrdom in the battlefield
3. the two younger sons, didnt accept the conditions of Moghuls, and preferred to get sacrificed
4. After all this, sleeping carelessly in Machiwara jungle, with the aura of a King of Kings, fully contended with Bhana
5. Wrote so much of Baani with distinct style
6. Expert of so many languages
7. Established Khalsa in 1699. The five beloved were given status of a Guru. Then Guru Gobind Singh himself got Amrit from them. Appey Guru, Chela - means first time in history, this kind of guru-chela incident happened
8. Fought intense battles against oppression
9. Left fore the heavenly abode at the age of 42, accomplishing so much in such a young age!

There are numerous sikhs, who preferred to get tortured or sacrificed, but didnt compromise with the values of Sikhism.

Waheguru

Waho Waho Gobind Singh Aape Gur Chela,

Our tongue is so small to say, brain is too small to think, Hands are not capable to write, But A Khalsa Have to Say about The Sachkhand Niwaasi, Kalgiyaanwale di Shaan Wich. Is there any fake script or an imaginary book of any legendary ages which can tell this kind of happening. No person living or dead, without knowing of Sikh Culture, Cannot even Think of this, What our Guru Gobind Singh Saheb Has done in a small life but Truly a full LIFE. A life which has shown the ways to live to really Live your life. A selfless first, A donor second, and no quality of life One can show Otherthan His Life. He is Ruler, He is Daani, He is Great warrior, He is The Guru who was having the skill of, Chiriyan to Baaz turwande si, He is great thinker. He is the true "JAP TAP SANJAM" wale Satguru. All this I'm saying is nothing like a,"Jara". Kalgiyaan wale di shaan wich kuch wi kehya ja sakda hai, par Usda bakhaan koi virla hi kar Sakda hai.

Re: Hindu? Buddhist? Islamic? No this is Guru Gobind Singh Ji

There are not enough words in any language to express the inner beauty of our 10th Guru. The most amazing point to be made is that after letting his Dad sacrifice himself so Hindus could remain Hindus ( what a shame they- the Hindus- forgot all this in 1984),He sacrificed his 4 young sons.

He was a polyglot with great writing abilities, a visionary who not only taught us how to be better humans but also instilled the true sense of One-ism by showing us how to fight against injustice by putting the finishing touches on the Khalsa cake- the pure hearted ones.

One more interesting thing to notice is that he asked for only Five people whom he lovingly named the Panj Pyaras.He offered them Khandei de Pahul and took the same from them. By doing so he lowered himself to raise us all to his level.

If he had wanted all of those who had gathered on the Vaisakhi day in 1699 to take Khandei de Pahul, he would have demanded so. But he did not. He gave the opportunity for all of us to walk according to our own inner drum beats. Through this example he instilled in us how to start the journey towards becoming pure/kind hearted irrespective of our gender,hue,creed or faith.
Reference:: Sikh Philosophy Network http://www.sikhphilosophy.net/showthread.php?t=4171

Guru Nanak started the cake of Khalsa and it took 8 of our Gurus after Guru Nanak to bake it and Guru Gobind Singh put the icing on this Khalsa cake.

And the most unselfish and beautiful thing he did was that he shared this Khalsa cake in the form of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji with all humanity without even taking a bite for himself.

This shows that the secret for becoming a Khalsa- the pure hearted is in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji which gives us the tools to breed goodness within and only the ones that are pure at heart are capable of doing that.
Reference:: Sikh Philosophy Network http://www.sikhphilosophy.net/showthread.php?t=4171

Thanks to Guru Gobind Singh ji, we have Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji which shows us how to etch the meanings of Kakaars on our psyche so that they just do not become the mere outer symbols of show off but the engine that propels us into doing good deeds.

Thank You Tejwant Ji for a beautiful mail.

Guru Gobind Singh Ji...certainly did a few things differently from the Nine Gurus preceeding Him..
All the others chose their "Appointed Successor"..after a process that only they knew about...the "testing" was going on..BUT only the GURU knew about it...before He announced it to ALL.
Guru Gobind Singh Ji took this one step further...His TEST just took a few hours...and He made the candidiates SIT it in PUBLIC...and He chose FIVE "sucessors" ( who are to act as ONE ) and then publicly submitted Himself before the FIVE..Aapeh GUR- CHELA. Although Guru nanak ji and the others also submitted to the succeeding GURU...that was only for a short while before the Guru passed on to Sachkhand....ONLY GURU GOBIND SINGH JI stayed on for a FEW YEARS....1699 - 1708 about 8 + years..almost a DECADE. He also "tested" the Five again to see if they were able to carry on the Mission ..they passed...then he also "tested" them again in Chamkaur..where they decided that He should leave the fort to continue to lead the Panth.
Reference:: Sikh Philosophy Network http://www.sikhphilosophy.net/showthread.php?t=4171
1. The FIVE Principle measn Sikhi cna spread far and beyond...and the Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji measn that the GURU is also in as many palces simultaneously as necessray...no more limitations of time and space ( that the Human Gurus faced). This means that Panth now had the "Executive Branch - and the "Constitution" in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji..BOTH must work hand in hand and compliment each other. The Guru Khalsa Panth implements the Constitution of the Guru Granth sahib Ji. What a beautiful concept...Only a Guru Gobind Singh Ji could have done it..so successfully.
