Seeing Bir Khalsa Dal, one cannot help but think: what if every Sikh at that time had known Gatka and had some basic Shastras at home? Every one of us could have defended ourselves, and many would have been deterred from perpetrating crimes against the Sikh community in the first place. It is love for their Guru Sahib's vidya that inspires them to practice, and makes them willing to teach for free.
