The opening of Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, Fatehghar Sahib, is a great foot forward for the people of Punjab,and particularly the Sikhs.

Most colleges and Universities in th UK are linked to Churches, eg Oxford and Cambridge, so I have no problem. |

It is just like having Gurudwara on campus. It is great for students who want to continue doing sangat while also living in hostel  |

Saying that it does not mean the University should be treated as a Gurudwara. The Temporal and the Spiritual should be seperated.

I don't think there is any harm in keeping religious literature in libraries of academic institutions as long as such literature is kept in sections of the library clearly marked as 'fiction'. |

Why do we want it to confine the institute to be only of the Sikhs, by the Sikhs and for the Sikhs?
