The Gurmukhs worship the Lord, and find His celestial home.

Can we worship the Lord and find His celestial home ? Kindly expand on this.

Yes , Respected namjap ji, I shall try in brief as the page goes dead within 10 minutes.

Gurmukh [who has been stated to be as high as a saint in Bani at many places]worships HIm i.e eulogise HIm ,does keertan of HIs praises with devotional worship and in full fear of the lord gets the chance of being with HIM i.e he finds HIS home or finds HIM.
Gurmukh can be used in other sense that is the one who acts per Guru's instructions also finds HIM.
Likewise , sir, we can also do the same and as a result ...find HIM or HIs celestial home.

One who meets with the rewarding personality of the Guru, continually sings the Kirtan of the Lord's Praises. By Guru's Grace, such a rare one beholds the Lord with his eyes. ||6||
that's all..Subject To HIS Grace

Guru's instructions cannot be put in a line. One can ,however, state that the teachings contained in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji would be the Guru's instructions that lead to equipoise and Jeevan Mukt.be living dead and overcoming ego..naam simran besides many other...

Lest I forget, I was just revising the notes that I have made at the site. I was reminded of Sant Maskeen ji who stated that sabad is the sound heard by us when the 'word' 'waheguru' is uttered. It was his way of explaining. Thus word' becomes Dhuni, naad , anhat naad and all that is linked with the sound.Similarly all that is linked with light also becomes 'word' as sound under ceratin conditions [as per physics] becomes light .Hence 'sabad' is also 'Naam'.

My presumption is , that I am free to make as there is no reply to the thread Of 'Akath Katha', that Akath Katha is also linked to naam /sabad as one listens to the dhuni/dhun/anhat naad/naad only after purification of the mind and by overcoming ego by constant simran. The listening to naad ,probably, can be called as the listening to the Akath Katha and uttering the Naam would be equivalent to the speaking of the Akath Katha. I am putting it here so that I can refer back to these notes that could be referred to sometime in the future.

Re: Merging in the Word Of Sabad

In the original post the translation of gurmukhi 'sabad' has been done as 'word Of sabad'.I think it is again the problem of the translation.
