Just read the initial post and then the next few posts.

How ridiculous is that?

"kesh is not meant to be kept on the floor, or in dirty locations in the bin, so its best to burn it"

What kind of....I can't even explain it...

If its DEAD, then WHY WOULD IT MATTER?

and Damdami Taskal has a rehat for this, ...

I say we create a new ritual...every 2 years every Sikh in the world should come to Amritsar where we will all throw our kesh in 1 big flame! jokes

Anyways, the reason I made this thread...
how would you respond to that thread above in a reasonable way that hopefully some people would see real logic? Perhaps those are just little kids and they don't know what to do..

Hair is living. when you comb your hair you are cleaning out the dead hairs that are making the living hair filthy. Once the dead hairs come out you may do as you please with them - throw them in the bin etc.

The dead hair is not Kesh. Kesh is UNSHORN HAIR. The hair that comes out is not on the scalp and is dead... therefore showing no disrespect wherever you throw it.
