S. Aman Singh Ji

I spent almost two hours listening to Sant Baba Hari Singh response to certain question raised. Gurbani clearly tells us, 'pRQmy mnu prboDY Apnw pwCY Avr rIJwvY ] - before we guide and preach other or take the title of sant, let us train our mind'. After contemplating upon the gurbani, a sant face shines and glow, but from the body language and way of his approach only lead me to literally smell stink emiting out from my laptop. With the advent of internet, various channel, when I observe people present their view with convincing power, I found him almost illiterate and picking pankti out of context to fool innocent. He is neem hakim khatra jaan. The other day I was in Gurdwara Rakab Ganj where anniversary of Bhai Jasbir Singh was celerrated, the josh and jazba of sikh community was worth noting. What we need is a proper guide or a driver to lead this community. Younger educated generation is not going to accept their interpretation. Even if Guru Nanak Sahib takes birth in this age, he first need to go to university and study before he is able to sell any idea.We need educated well presented scholars and time of these babas is over and or we shouldn't encourage them.I find presentation of Mr.Randip Singh on this form more convincing and enlightened than these so called misleading sant. Let us work toward this.

Best regards

Mohinder Ji, i echo your voice... you would see that i clearly titled the thread as "A debate with Bhai Hari Singh Ji", i did not mention or added any title or something, the video is not produced or endorsed by SPN... but i found it intriguing and just wanted to add another perspective to the issue... and i agree, the efforts of Dear Randip in Fools Wrangle Over Flesh are next to none...

SPN, as always strives to allow views of every perspective on any issue without prejudice... :)

Warm Regards
Aman

I understand. I would rather love to address Sant SPN Ji or Sant Google Ji where I get ocean of wisdom and who are growing day by day than these people who are scar on our society.

BEAUTIFULLY PUT.
This same person is also in the vanguard of the PRO-DSM granth forces...He is the one who Ran away from the live debate with Prof Darshan Singh Khalsa in New York Gurdwara by getting his followers to create a ruckus in the presence of SGGS.
Verily I would say..with such "debaters" as friends who needs enemies ?? He is a good friend of dsm granth...and all those other topics that such self proclaimed sants love to mumble about...
SPN and Google is a much better place for genuine knolwedge of sikhism/gurmatt.:D

You would have noticed I shy away from such videos. To quote an old East London coloquialism "Fings like this do mi fruit in" :)

What was the pupose of Fools Wrangle Over Flesh? Was it to promote meat eating? Disrespect Vegetarians?

If that is the view of that, then people have not understood it. It is about understanding of Bani, and creating mutual respect for people on both sides of the fence, without judging one another. The clue really is in the title, and Flesh can be from a fruit or an animal! :);)

Excellent.

What people need to understand is that it is the balance of diet that is required. Too much meat too will do you harm.

I had a debate with someone who was adamant that meat eaters are destroying the planet. I said OK, we all become vegetarian, will that solve the problem?

He looked at me at said yes. I said are you sure? He said some fellow at the UN published a report on it. I read the report, and what the reports essence is, we need to CONSUME LESS! Even thought the report writer was a Vashnavite vegetarian, and tried to push that, you could see the flaws.LOBH is the problem with people!

If all Americans ate half of what they did, I am sure that would make a massive impact. ;)

EXACTLY..the real problem is OVER CONSUMPTION..which is taste..rass as described in Gurbani. The "Rass" word is used to imply not what is "needed" but what is WANTED...a need can be fulfilled...but a WANT can NEVER be fulfilled !! People tend to INCREASE their WANTS..more and more...a hundred thousand owner wants a million..a millionaire wants to be abillionaire..a billionaire wants to be trillionaire..and so on...a meat eater wants to taste..chicken, quail, beef, goat, etc..then on to fish, deer, frogs and what not...which vegetarian is satisfied with just daal roti..thy wnat khichrree, they wnat cheese, milk, yoghurt, moong daal, chickpeas, chholay, this and that..makhni daal, ghee kheer..etc etc..SAME THING..OVER CONSUMPTION..RASS >>ADDICTION beyond Needs..:(:(:(
