THE Sikh community welcomed Waltham Forest's top policeman in a special ceremony before the annual Vaisakhi festival. Borough Commander Mark Benbow visited the Gurdwara Sikh Sangat in Francis Road, Leyton, to be given the Sikhs' highest gift of honour, the Kirpaan.
