A New Orleans gurdwara was partially submerged by waters resulting from the devastating hurricane Katrina that hit Louisiana as well as Mississippi and Alabama. But the Guru Granth Sahib, the Sikh holy book, has been retrieved, much to the relief of Sikhs around the country.
