Putting an end to speculations, the Punjab Jails Department has communicated it to the Chandigarh Police that they cannot accommodate Jagtar Singh Hawara and Balwant Singh in Patiala Jail. Citing "apprehension of trouble in Patiala Jail considering the profiles of both the convicts, who could trigger tension in the jail, as numerous terrorists are already languishing in Patiala jail", the jails ...
