The sprawling lounge at the Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) pavilion proudly displays a group photograph of 1992-93 with a beaming Gursharan Singh posing in front of the Ranji Trophy. It was his first year as skipper and that, incidentally, remains the only season when Punjab went on to win the coveted title. The PCA is now looking up to Gush, as he is fondly called, to retreive the trophy back ...
