Amidst speculation of early municipal polls in the state, Punjab's Minister for Local Bodies Manoranjan Kalia today said the state government would soon inform the Election Commission for notifying an early date. This would happen once the revision of Jalandhar MC's voters' list completes on July 11, he said. Kalia said the SAD-BJP combine would contest the civic polls on the plank of development ...
