WITHIN a year Punjab would have its first Territorial Army s (TA s) Ecological Task Force Battalion. Punjab Cooperation and Defence Services Welfare Minister, Captain Kanwaljit Singh (retd) said at the inauguration of the Territorial Army Down the Ages that a proposal for raising such a battalion has been sent to the Central government and it is likely to get materialise within a year.
