I think it's sad how people use disaster to blame each other and themselves. Maybe being religious is the core of being human as disasters one way or another find their way into religious congregations.

Only fundamentalists think that can happen. After all, it has been happening in muslim and jewish and hindu and shinto societies for thousands of years.
