Shiv Sena had announced to burn the effigy of Mann to protest against remarks that the editor or the newspaper Baljit Singh Khalsa had made against Shiv Sena. Khlasa is said to be supporter of Mann. He has criticised Shiv Sena for an earlier incident of clash between Msupporters of Mann and Parkash Singh Badal president of Shiromani Akali Dal(SAD) at Kathunanagal during birth anniversary of Bab Budha ji at Kathu Nnagal.
