Documentary on Sri Harimander Sahib

This film is lovingly made and beautifully captures a day at Sri Darbar Sahib - the "ਅੱਠ ਪਹਿਰੀ ਮਰਯਾਦਾ" (Ath Pehehri Maryada) is shown in all it's glory - the film includes Guru Sahib's Santokh Sewa , Sawari and Sukhasan. Sukki Sewa and Gilli Sewa (ishnaan of the marble floors) is also shown as is the arrival , Prakash and Hukumnama of Guru Sahib. The Deepmala of Divali Night is also shown as is the 'Jalau' - the display of the treasures of the Toshekhana. The film ends with Ardaas and Atishbaazi (fireworks).

It was fabulous. The connections to make with gurdwara experiences were really meaningful. The services at Harimandir are the source and the origin. Nothing quite as magnificent happens close to home, but all the antecedents are there. The sense of history is overwhelming. Sometimes the video drew quiet but deep emotions.

That is going to make SPN really unique among the Sikh forums, and any of the religious and spiritual forums. Look at how it livens the web site already. You are not just publishing a video tuner. That scene tells a lot of the story. It was by the way one of the most moving scenes.

Very imporant -- the audio and video quality that SPN is displaying is much better than the Google audio and video.
