I have no regard for this person Dhunda.
Once few years ago he told the story of Nandar. About the one person started the lungar. His words: he was wiring in the kitchen. He got upset on some thing. That guy left that place, he went to station to go back to Punjab. No one asked him that there were no station that time. People travel on foot. He did not knew. If he can not know the litter thing how can he lead people. He was here in Canada Edmonton he created riot in the gurdwara. These kind of people would not in gurdwara

Dev Singh ji,

Guru fateh,

Please accept my apologies on the get go about your post and also pardon my ignorance.

I am sorry to say that I have no idea what you are trying to convey. Please make your thought clearer.

Would you be kind enough to post what Dhunda said as per your claim above if there is a video or an audiotape available?

Lastly, I would like to point out that we are Sikhs- Learners and we continue this process till our last breath. Learning while growing and not being afraid to share what we had thought before about the subject and what we think now which may be totally contrary to the previous one is a gallant effort by any human especially for a Sikh.

whilst i agree that any moment where a person contemplates waheguru becomes Amrit Vela...and that moment is precious, valuable and powerful

i can also only talk of my own personal experience of contemplation | Simran | Reading Bani etc
Often i do this during the day...its great..this Saturday i slept through the night so had my Amrit Vela in the early afternoon...it was amazing and just what i needed to start t

But looking back through the past 3-4 years, some of the most powerful, unbelievable, thought provoking, logic defying, incomprehensible things that Waheguru has allowed me to be a part of....
occurred during the early hours.

i know i can hit a higher level of Ik Mann - single mindedness, focus on Waheguru in these moments...everyone is asleep...nature is sleeping, i can't hear a sound. no distractions...just me...my phone for reading Bani from...and for listning to some Shabad Kirtan....and Him.

Maybe someone else can have a moment away from the hustle and bustle of life at other times of the day...but for me, the early hours work perfectly...its my time, my moment with my beloved...where nothing else matters

Chaz ji,

Guru Fateh,

Thanks for your lovely thoughts about Amritvela which comes quite often in the discussions here.

However, this particular post is about the rant towards Dhunda. The title is a misnomer for some reason.

If you like you can start a thread about your thoughts above.

Thanks and regards

What is ek mann, how can one get ek mann? Is it some organ or what it is I am at loss.

What is bani? The way I think bani is what every one speak. If some one say good words or some says bad word, both is bani.
Guru bani is what guru spoke or rite it.
Most of the people knows GGS by heart they don't have to read it from book. Some like me don't remember. I have to read it. Those who have remember why they rsite it. But why rite it? It is to follow what is written. I see sloke Par Par Lede/ Par par Khede.
Mean we read and read but don't get it it is like throw in dirt.
We do not follow what is written Why do be bow to book when we don't do what is written in it?

People use WAHEGURU/ What this word mean. It is not written any where in GGS. Why we have made it secret word?
But puja is forbidden but we still hang fake pictures and worship the pictures. What message they are sending people?

there is some debate on this

What is bani? The way I think bani is what every one speak. If some one say good words or some says bad word, both is bani.
bani is the content of the SGGS
Most of the people knows GGS by heart they don't have to read it from book.
I disagree, I would not say most people, and even those that do, may only know the phonetic sounds of the words.
Some like me don't remember. I have to read it. Those who have remember why they rsite it. But why rite it? It is to follow what is written. I see sloke Par Par Lede/ Par par Khede.
some believe that the phonetic nature of the words have spiritual properties
Mean we read and read but don't get it it is like throw in dirt.
I do believe that a greater injustice is done to the SGGS on a daily basis that dwarfs the recent problems in India, it just is not as apparent.
We do not follow what is written Why do be bow to book when we don't do what is written in it?
because its easier to bow
People use WAHEGURU/ What this word mean. It is not written any where in GGS
actually it is, and your quoting of this statement intimates you are copying the questions from elsewhere, no problem, you may wish to cite it, Waheguru is actually not written, apparently,

in any of Guru Nanakji's writings in the SGGS if memory serves me correctly, I did read the same piece some time ago.

But puja is forbidden but we still hang fake pictures and worship the pictures. What message they are sending people?

it is open to debate

Waheguru is no where in the SGG. we told not to recite that is not in the SGG. Why people doing that?
Wah mean wonder. guru is who teach us and show the way.
It was used by people referring to Guru Gobind Singh. it is not the shabad that is in the SGG. This is making mockery
of the shabad. Gobind Singh never said that call me guru? Resiting it is wrong and it should blocked.
Mann is the thought nothing more.
Why hang fake pic in gurdwara and in people homes? just saying it is open debate is not good enough. If this site allow it then who is going to stop it? Gobind Singh Said no one should bow to any one. We are not respecting him.
I do not copy from some where else it is my thought. Do not accuse me for copy.
As I said bani is what u and I speak it have to power that can heal people or some angle will come and help one.
Reading any book will not heel or give any one power to do any thing.

sorry if I offended you and others

Hey sounds like you are upset with so many things...

The shabad 'Waheguru' is mentioned in SGGS Ji...1403 and 1404. please read, enjoy the beauty with which it is used...for one Day when you see | Feel Waheguru within you...you may utter those same words yourself...

People are going to do things that you don;t agree with...what matters is what you do. You can;t correct the whole world...but you can correct yourself...don;t get so upset over everything...put your feet up...reeeelaaaaxxx

sorry ji...

i guess some people don;t like this Dhunda fella for one reason or another...
just like you don;t like Yogi Bhajan, or the dude from Basics of Sikhi...

personally i don;t know Him, or listened to his videos. Easiest way for me to know the truth is surrender to waheguru...That way i save myself from the possibility of wrongfully judging another person.

Let me ask you based on your claim,"i guess some people don;t like this Dhunda fella for one reason or another..."

What don't some people like about Dhunda? Is it his view on Sikh theology or something else?

just like you don;t like Yogi Bhajan, or the dude from Basics of Sikhi..

Could you show me where I claimed the above?

What is your first claim based on as you have not heard him do any katha on Gurbani?

Can listening to the learned people help you to "surrender to waheguru" or not?

Tejwant Ji

i'm not claiming anything lol....
you said this thread was about the 'Rant' Towards Dhunda...based on this i said 'i GUESS some people don't like him just like you don't really like certain things about Yogi Bhajan and Jugraj from Basics of Sikhi... i.e. people will always find faults in others...

That's all ji... I have no opinion about Dhunda because i know nothing of him...

Like i said...i made no claim...the Rant towards Dhunda was mentioned by you...and i said i guess some people don;t like Him just like you don;t like other supposedly learned individuals. Its the way of the world...

I've learned some things from Yogi Bhajan, from Jugraj....and now after watching the Dhunda video...also from him...

but now i must make the continued effort to Simr on Waheguru...and Serve Him in all....the hard part...

"just like you don;t like Yogi Bhajan, or the dude from Basics of Sikhi..."
Could you show me where I claimed the above?

What you wrote about Jugraj from Basics of Sikhi:

"If people believe in the rubbish that Jugraj Singh spits out in the name of Sikhi, then those people have no idea what Sikhi is all about which is disgraceful.
I have interacted with him many a times and with others who used to believe in his nonsense and do not anymore. These kind of people like Jugraj Singh are the RSS kind who want to insert Hindutva in Sikhi as it has been done for centuries.
This guy is fooling many as the derawalas do. It is a shame he is abusing Sikhi baana to advance his RSS Non-Sikhi agenda.
f some believe in Jugraj Singh's unSikhi stance, I would urge them to be a Sikh as per Gurmat and come out of the closet and share their thoughts about what attracted them to this con man who is peddling Sikhi as some kind of snake oil. "

Ok, i think it's fair to say based on the above, you don;t think much of Jugraj as a sikh and what he's doing as a sikh.

What you said if Yogi Bhajan
"He was a great orator, the gift he cultivated and took the best out of. There are many other things about him which are not worth mentioning because they are so disgraceful for anyone, whether one is a Sikh or not.

Again its fair to say you don't think much of him. And to make things clear i'm not saying you're wrong to have those opinions of these people..

Just like you find faults or reasons to dislike Jugraj and Yogi Bhajan...people are going to find reasons to rant about this Dhunda fella. Its nothing new...this happens all the time, justified or unjustified...

Chaz Singh ji,

Guru Fateh.

Allow me ask you the question in another manner so both of us can keep ourselves on the path of Truthful Living, the cornerstone of Sikhi.

Your claim below and only the one is bold is being discussed here.

like i said ji...

i've watched a lot of Yogi Bhajans Videos....Basics of Sikhi...and many other videos from other people...

one thing they all mention is...to Meditate on waheguru...and to serve humanity (waheguru) selflessly...Which thankfully Sri Guru Nanak Dev also made very clear for us already...

That's now the biggest Seva i can do with my remaining breaths in order to develop as a Sikh and continue to Serve as best as i can with Waheguru by my side...

I find no need to disect | rant or judge every individual who speaks of Waheguru...time to find out for real for myself....walk the walk...

God bless Ji
