Some things which can be felt need neither introductions nor crafty-worded paragraphs.
Thank you for sharing these performances. |

I don't know which one I like best But if I play them over and over again, the message may stick. |

| | | | | Re: Poetry Corner I've dreamed many dreams that never came true,
I've seen them vanish at dawn.
But I've realized enough of my dreams, thank God,
To make me want to dream on.
I've prayed many prayers, when no answers came,
Though I waited so patient and long,
But answers came to enough of my prayers Reference:: Sikh Philosophy Network http://www.sikhphilosophy.net/poetry-corner/17040-poetry-corner.html
To make me keep praying on.
I've trusted many a friend who failed
And left me to weep alone,
But I've found enough of my friends to be true
To make me keep trusting on.
I've sown many seeds that fell by the way
For the birds to feed upon,
But I've held enough golden sheaves in my hands
To make me keep sowing on.
I've drained the cup of disappointment and pain
And gone many days without song,
But I've sipped enough nectar from the roses of life
To make me want to live on. Reference:: Sikh Philosophy Network http://www.sikhphilosophy.net/showthread.php?t=17040

| | | | | Re: Poetry Corner amarsanghera ji,
I actually do! They were not on my radar screen until early this morning when I went looking for music to go with the poem posted by NamJap ji. The video art in the second clip --- that I also found very haunting. Do you like rasmus? Reference:: Sikh Philosophy Network http://www.sikhphilosophy.net/showthread.php?t=17040Reference:: Sikh Philosophy Network http://www.sikhphilosophy.net/showthread.php?t=17040
There were also some cool videos by Japanese vocal artists -- but I could not understand a word other than they had something to do with the ups and downs of life. So NOT POSTED. |
