Re: Har Har

Har is one of the Man Made Names of the Creator..GOD..Akal Purakh... Its ONE 3 alphabet word "HAR"..the second is repetition...

ALL MAN MADE Names of God/Creator are actually INCOMPLETE ...simply becasue they are Man Made..and ONLY GOD is Complete...
Example: Beethal...caretaker of the uneducated ( then who is the caretaker of the educated ??) Gopal..Protector of the cows/cowherds..then who is protector of the chicken farmer ?? the horse keeper..the pig rearer ??? Narayan..Lord of the Oceans..then who is Lord of teh Mountains... etc etc etc..

Re: Har Har

Could it also be the One gives what each soul needs? Just as each child needs something different from her siblings according to her temperament. I am not disagreeing, just asking questions to help me understand better. Perhaps there are truly infinite Names.

Thank you, for these explanations. It helped a lot.

Jasnoor
well said Jasnoor ji ,

"Har " is also a beautiful Name among infinite names of ONE .

In Japji Sahib Guru Nanak says

ਅਸੰਖ ਨਾਵ ਅਸੰਖ ਥਾਵ ॥
Countless names, countless places.

ਅਗੰਮ ਅਗੰਮ ਅਸੰਖ ਲੋਅ ॥
Inaccessible, unapproachable, countless celestial realms.

ਅਸੰਖ ਕਹਹਿ ਸਿਰਿ ਭਾਰੁ ਹੋਇ ॥
Even to call them countless is to carry the weight on your head.
