Giving Sri Guru Granth Sahib It's Due Repect

Hello Everyone,

I have been reading the Guru Granth Sahib on the internet or on my computer as a PDF file. I would like to be able to read it in book form, away from my computer. I understand that if possible it should have it's own room etc. for proper respect. I do not have room for this. The best that I could do is keep it on it's own clean book shelf by itself. Does this mean that I should not own a hard copy of Guru Granth Sahib?
